Haryana Election 2024 North Railway has accepted the resignation of Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat. Now the way has been cleared for both the wrestlers to contest the assembly elections. Digital Desk, Chandigarh. Northern Railway has accepted the resignation of Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat. Now the way has been cleared for both the wrestlers to contest the assembly elections. Before joining the Congress, both the wrestlers had resigned from the railway job.
However, the Railway rules were coming in the way of accepting the resignations of both the wrestlers. There were speculations that Phogat would not be able to contest the elections due to the three-month notice period rule. According to the rules, she can contest the elections only after she is relieved from the post from the Railways or her resignation is accepted. The Railways has accepted her resignation today.
Bajrang’s resignation is also accepted
Let us tell you that Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia have joined Congress before the Haryana assembly elections. Congress has fielded them from Julana assembly seat. At the same time, Bajrang has not got the ticket yet. But Bajrang has also resigned from the railway job.
Brij Bhushan Singh had targeted
